HOT COILED SPRINGS

   The factory is equipped with a line for heating, coiling, quenching and annealing of hot coiled helical and conical springs which are mainly used in automotive industry, carriage building and heavy caterpillar-track technique. Springs are coiled of material from 15 mm to 60 mm thick and maximum length of the bars 6700 mm. The induction heating makes production very flexible and even very small orders can be executed. The maximum outside diameter of the springs is 325 mm, the maximum free length before block setting is 900 mm and the forces do not exceed 50 tons. The following treatment of the springs according to the requirements of the drawings is applied:
      - Grinding of end coils;
      - Shot peening;
      - Magnetic particles inspection;
      - Powder painting as a corrosion-proof coating.
